  • Currently, Bhakti is the lead dancer in India’s first classical all girl band of India - SAKHI....... Her resonance!

Sakhi has been giving magnificent performances in India, Europe and USA, one of the most prestigious invites being from Carnegie hall New York.

In just 15 months since its launch Sakhi has been
most popularly seeked, among the Indian classical
music circle making everyone feel proud of our
musical heritage on the global platform.

Bhakti also likes to collaborate with artists of other disciplines of dance as well as vocal-instrumental ensembles. Her recent experiments have been greatly appreciated by young audiences.

Bhakti’s grounded experience and eye for choreography also has added feathers to her cap. Some significant and recent ones are:-

  • Assistant choreographer to Pt. Birju Maharaj for Filmfare award winning song ‘Mohe rang do Lal’ from Bajirao Mastani and Dedh Ishqiya, in which she was featured as younger Madhuri Dixit herself

  • Assistant choreographer for World Culture Festival by Art of living in which she choreographed 1800 Kathak dancers securing a place in the Guinness book of world records

  • Features as a choreographer & trainer for Kathak on Tata Sky, Dish TV Active & Videocon d2h dedicated channel for Dance with Madhuri along with its online portal. Bhakti also choreographs Kathak pieces for Madhuri Dixit 

  • Featured and Choreographed 'Piya Bin', an independent video by Indie Roots

  • Featured as younger Begum in the film Dedh Ishqiya

  • Choreographer for productions by Abhijat - Gaatha & Khel-Kathak

  • Bhakti is a popular actor, and has been adored by thousands for playing the lead role of a marathi television daily ‘Dilya Ghari tu sukhi Raha’ on Zee Marathi

  • She is currently working as part of Dharma Bharti’s legendary work 'Kanupriya' as an actor and dance director

  • Best Actress at Rang Sangeet for 'Raji cha Mor' 

  • Nomination for Best Actress at Zee Gaurav for the play 'Aniket Rashoman' based on the Japanese classic 'Roshomon'
